Spent the day at Rippon Lea Estate and it’s easy to see why it’s one of Melbourne’s most beautiful historic properties. The gardens are absolutely stunning, with plenty of peaceful spots to wander, relax and take in the atmosphere. The mansion itself is full of character and history, and the whole estate has a calm, elegant feel that makes it a great escape from the busy city pace.
The grounds were well maintained, staff were friendly and welcoming, and there was always something interesting to discover around every corner. Whether you’re there for an event, a picnic, a walk through the gardens or just a relaxing afternoon, it’s a fantastic place to spend a few hours.

We enjoyed the tour of the mansion which was entertaining with our guide, Sarah. Then had a nice walk around the garden. Quite a few couples having picnics being Valentine's Day.
Was there for a wedding last weekend, never been before, will go back to explore more. The old building looks fantastic, ground staff were great to work with for wedding. I recommend for others to have a look too.
Rippon Lea Estate is unique historic mansion located of sweeping lawn more than 14 acres, spending the day with pleasure to visit this garden which has different types of trees aged 150 years and the lacks breathtaking with ducks around you to feed them
