The jewel of Melbourne’s iconic St Andrews Hotel – Fitzroy (formerly The Pumphouse Hotel), our Conservatory has a modern, unique design and a spacious interior. With a ceiling made entirely from glass, the outside is brought indoors, offering guests an impressive and grandiose atmosphere with plenty of natural light.
Delicate bamboo lanterns are suspended from metallic exposed beams, which illuminate the venue giving the sense of romance. The cosy fireplace and large mirrors add to the exceptional atmosphere and timeless style of the Conservatory.
We understand the organisation required to make your wedding day a success, which is why we offer all-inclusive packages for both a Seated or Cocktail event.
We appreciate that one of the most important aspects to you is food quality and quantity, because it is important to us too. Our food is prepared onsite and to order by our Executive Chef from a variety of locally sourced produce.
With our expertise, and a genuine interest in the way you want your wedding to be, our wedding co-ordinator will work with you every step of the way to create an experience that is uniquely yours.
The main aim for all our staff is to ensure that your guests have a wonderful and memorable evening. On the day, our wedding co-ordinator will be on hand for the whole event to guarantee that everything runs smoothly, so you can relax and enjoy an occasion you’ll remember forever.

I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a wedding venue to talk to St Andrew’s Conservatory, they gave us the wedding that will be in our fondest memories forever. We’ll probably be back for more family events 😃
On the day, everything went perfectly and staff went out of their way to ensure that not only the guests were enjoying themselves but that we were fed and watered as well. The food portions were huge and there was a large selection to choose from. For a small fee, there is also the option to have guests choose from an A la Carte menu.
Now that the dust has settled and we have the opportunity to reflect on the day, my wife and I can confidently say that if we had the opportunity, we would choose St Andrews again and again to host our wedding. The location was perfect, the decor was amazing and the food and drink were unmatched for what we paid. Would absolutely recommend to any one of our family and friends getting married in the future.
It was truly a wonderful evening, and our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The level of service, quality of the food, and overall hospitality were exceptional. Everything was handled with such care and professionalism, and we are so grateful for all the time and effort that went into making the night perfect.
