The Regency Room

Despite temperatures reaching around 30 degrees, the air conditioning was not turned on throughout the entire evening. The ballroom became extremely hot and uncomfortable for guests. For a Macedonian wedding, traditional group dancing is a major part of the celebration. However, due to the heat, it became physically unbearable and many guests simply could not continue participating in our cultural dances.
It was also concerning to see that there were not enough chairs provided for working professionals. Photographers had to sit on the floor during breaks. While the floor staff were courteous and did their best, this clearly reflects a lack of planning from management.
Most of all, we genuinely felt sorry for the couple. They deserved a comfortable, well-managed environment that respected both their special day and their cultural traditions.
Leadership needs to take responsibility for ensuring basic comfort and professionalism at events of this scale.
We had such a wonderful time and highly recommend The Manor on High to anyone looking for a beautiful venue for a special occasion or event. A fantastic experience from start to finish!
I attended a wedding and just as the function was starting there was a power fault in the area. The venue went over and beyond to accommodate us in what was some extremely trying circumstances.
With only what seemed to be part power, which unfortunately meant they lost their air con systems on a hot night, they were still able to pull off a remarkable event.
The food was superb, though how they managed to cook, present, and serve it in a timely manner is beyond me.
The staff were amazing, constantly topping up our drinks and bringing extra water and ice and management in suits were obvious in their presence running around all night to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possible despite the circumstances.
It is my understanding that there was not only our function but another two wedding that night! To be able to hold all three events so well, where many other venues would have cancelled or postponed is a glowing testament to the team at the Manor's professionalism, commitment and dedication to customer service.
