Most couples I meet aren’t really worried about the ceremony. They’re worried about being in it; about being so caught up in what comes next, or who’s watching, that they miss the moment they’ve been waiting for.
That’s what the experience of over 500 ceremonies teaches you. The ones that stay with people aren’t the ones that went perfectly. They’re the ones where the couple was actually there. Present, unhurried, being in the moment.
My job is to make that possible.
I’m Dwayne, a Melbourne marriage celebrant with over 500 ceremonies behind me. I write every ceremony from scratch, built entirely around your story: how you met, what you love about each other, and the moments only the two of you know. Nothing that could belong to anyone else.
On the day itself, I handle everything so you don’t have to think about anything. The run sheet, the timing, the people around you – all taken care of. My job is to be calm so you can be present.
Whether you want something deeply heartfelt, quietly elegant, warm and relaxed, or somewhere in between, I’ll shape the ceremony around what feels right for you.
Your only job on the day is to feel it.

He knows us very well since he collected our details (like when, how we met, what do we think each other, which point do we like etc.) so we were sure he could make our ceremony perfectly. He made beautiful timeline card in Japanese and English since my family also came from Japan, and it was so helpful for them. Also he has humour that made our guest so happy.
One thing what we want to tell him is we didn't know he read all of our details as an introduction of ceremony. As we said first, we gave him all of our stories but we were going to use that story for our speech as well. This is also our fault since we didn't ask anything and nobody guests wouldn't remember it so we used it for speech anyway, however if you told me how you introduce us before, that would more helpful.
Although I wrote like above, his organising skill is perfect and also quick, he supported us very well until our wedding even on that day, and we really appreciate it.
